Well here i am, in the cold that is England. At the moment im currently staying with my cousin husband Marie-Claire and her scottish Dougie. they're really great. They live in Birmingham, which is in the mid-lands. They cook the most AMAZING food, lots of chillis and great flavours (something to try at home, whole seed green chillis with pumpkin...SO good!)
Yesterday (which was saturday for us northern hemisphere people) we went to Shakespeare's birthplace, Stratford-Upon-Avon. It was really lovely. We didnt go into his house as it was a tad on the $$ side, but the gift shop was just as good =D Was SO tempted to buy a shakespear teddy bear! Then we went to Warwick, to see the castle, which took us ages to find, but when we did..wow!
Today we were going to go to the Dan-Yr-Ogof caves, but they dont open until march 27th, same with the monkey forest which was our backup plan! So now MC and i are going to head into Sutton, which is a few stations from birmingham, while Dougie goes and plays squash.
For tomorrow ill be leaving my dear cousin and headin to York to stay with my half brothers cousins. Im really excited about that, as i get to see Daniel (long story short the mans never in Aus and when he is its not for very log, so seeing him in a different country is pretty cool!) and he's going to take me fr a tour.
Well thats all for now, not too much adventuring yet, but in furthur editions look forward to; meeting up with a friend from primary school who i havent see in 6 years, fun in London and trips under the channel to the beautiful country of France.
